See the Fall 2018 Collection From Kevan Hall

Acclaimed fashion designer and FIDM Graduate Kevan Hall unveils his Fall 2018 collection in California Apparel News

The Los Angeles-based designer, who received a degree in Fashion Design, said he designed this season's collection for "the woman with a modern sensibility who is a romantic at heart." Employing plenty of texture with re-embroidered baroque lace, sequins and beaded degrade feathers, pleated metallic velvet, painted jersey, and velvet florals, Hall's designs are the epitome of luxury. The fashion industry publication reported, "Beaded gowns were front and center as well as mid-calf and max-length dresses. There are glimpses of a stronger shoulder seen in some dresses."

The Fall 2018 collection is comprised of glamorous evening gowns as well as dresses, tunics and fluid bottoms, and jumpsuits in a festive fall color palette that includes indigo, magenta, petrol, jade, wine, and cerulian. One of his signature design elements -- rich embellishments -- are present in the form of ribbon soutache, feathers, and embroidery. California Apparel News says this "makes a sexy statement when layered over nude illusions and mixed with point d'esprit."

A red carpet regular, Hall has dressed everyone from First Lady Michelle Obama, Vanessa Williams, and Tina Fey to Debra Messing, Viola Davis, and Christina Ricci. The award-winning designer has appeared on shows such as Inside Edition, Extreme Makeover, and E!'s Fashion Police. He's given lectures at the Norman Lear Center of the University of Southern California and at the Costume Council at the Los Angeles Museum of Modern Art. In 2011, he launched his premier bridal collection, Kevan Hall White Label, and he has designed a collection of dresses and separates for QVC UK and HSE24 Italia with much success.
